See One Million Sunflowers

The vision for Lakeview Village is to create spaces and places for the neighbourhood to come together and bring joy to the everyday. Lastyear, sunflowers were planted to beautify a site undergoing construction and remediation, delivering a shared experience that would delight and encourage the community to get outdoors.

This summer, one million sunflowers return to Lakeview Village along with 1,600 feet of original artwork from 19 artists.

Please note: The Lakeview Village sunflowers are still growing, and will reopen as health and safety measures permit. Stay connected to our social handles for sunflower updates. We look forward to welcoming you back to the site for another summer of fun in the sun…flowers.

Sustainability is a key driver in the plans for Lakeview Village. This field of sunflowers will bring native species back to the site, such as butterflies, bees and bugs, and help to build strong connections with the environment.
