Shipwreck in Kensington is the Halloween Charity Event you cannot miss… Directly supporting mental health research by fundraising for CAMH: The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Shipwreck in Kensington will feature a mix of artists, performers, and talent from across the City of Toronto, as well a diverse mix of local cultures and cuisine from the Kensington Market area.
Mental health awareness is one of the most underfunded and under-recognized causes in our modern age. Only recently have individuals begun to speak out about mental health, and the impact that it has on everyday lives. However, by raising awareness for the importance of mental health, we have the power to provide the support needed for every individual to realize that they are not alone in this struggle, and that it is OK to not be OK.
Proceeds will directly support CAMH: The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Canada’s largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital, and one of the world’s leading research centers in its field.
We hope you will join us in supporting, and raising awareness for, a cause that affects more people than you could ever imagine.
