You’ve never had a sweets and treats walking food tour like this before!

This tour is a comprehensive, insider and local’s guide history and food guide to the heart and soul of Toronto. We visit churches, world class markets, hidden buildings and courtyards, Canada’s oldest post office, and more!

We sample Toronto’s best Gelato, some fine handcrafted chocolates, delicious Japanese pastries and Green matcha lattes!

Don’t be afraid to let loose with talks about slavery, death, disease outbreaks, gun dueling, murder, religion and more, all whilst taking in savoury and delicious sweets and treats!

Stop At: St James Anglican Cathedral, 65 Church St (at King St. E.), Toronto, Ontario M5C 2E9 Canada

Visit and learn about the stunning St. James Cathedral Church, the oldest congregation in Toronto. This mid 19th century Gothic Revival styled cathedral is the heart of the Diocese of Toronto.

Time for our first delicious treat, and that is Toronto’s best Gelato, G For Gelato! Available only at select locations around Toronto, G For Gelato is consistently ranked at the top of Toronto’s Gelato rankings. We visit a top Italian restaurant for a wonderful start to our sweets tour!

We proceed to venture into Old Town Toronto where guests learn all about the famous landmarks and sights! First guests get the rundown on long lost buildings and secret antidotes about the early history of Toronto and it’s predecessor the Town of York. We see Victorian churches and cathedrals, and famous architectural gems.

We visit a locally-owned Japanese-themed coffee bar for tasty desserts, pastries and coffee/tea. Visit includes one monthly special or alternative, one coffee/tea/alternative.

Stop At: Toronto’s First Post Office, 260 Adelaide St E, Toronto, Ontario M5A 1N1 Canada

Next we visit a relatively unknown gem even to locals! One of the oldest standing historic buildings in Toronto, that doubles as a working post office!

Write your own letter in quill and ink, and mail to anywhere in the world whilst on tour!

Finally we explore a hidden courtyard and then on to the famous Distillery Historic District. Guests don’t experience this place unless with a guide! We cover the hidden history and the true stories of the growth of the former largest distillery in the British Empire.

We finish our Old Town history, food & drink adventure with a special chocolate tasting and mug of the finest hot chocolate you’ll ever have in your life at award-winning Soma Chocolatier!
