Events Description

Join Georgetown Little Theatre members, industry professionals, and artists for a special workshop; step up your spooky season game!

One of five workshops offered by Georgetown Little Theatre during Culture Days in Halton Hills:

October 2nd: Original Character Design
October 16th: Intro to Set Design
October 17th: Atmosphere and Special Effects for Theatre
October 23rd: Theatrical Special Effects Makeup
October 24th: Set Construction and Assembly

Offering a series of free workshops during culture days is a new opportunity for GLT; historically they are usually in the middle of mounting a show at the John Elliot Theatre, while the Youth Company prepares their One-Act-Festival. Having been dormant for over a year, GLT is reaching out to the public in a new and accessible way. The workshops are designed to build up to the Halton Haunt Experience, and give more enthusiastic supporters a chance to participate in the installation itself as performers, administrators, or technicians.
