Are We Still Together?
Ghislain Brown-Kossi
Join us for a Virtual Artist Talk and Tour with Ghislain Brown-Kossi, January 21, 2021 at 7:15 pm, on Facebook Live.
A French artist based in Vancouver, Ghislain Brown-Kossi has been always surrounded by Art and Fashion since his childhood in France. His work aims to understand how individuals interact with each other and how social relationships are transformed. As time passes he wonders if, as a society, we will break the walls and barriers between our diverse communities. When we look at each other we don’t really take time to talk or to have a real conversations and this can cause a separation. People often fear new comers and change, but at the same time they would like to know more about them. In “Are We Still Together”, Ghislain wanted to create a body of work that addresses this feeling of disconnection, and spur a dialogue in our communities.
