Blueprint presents Big Fun a new week of comedy, music, art and food debuting November 20th to 24th hosting 15+ events at 10+ Vancouver venues including Fortune Sound Club, Celebrities Nightclub, Venue, Colony Granville, Fox Cabaret, China Cloud, Little Mountain Gallery, Red Gate and more.
Big Fun is honoured to host world class headliners Trixie Mattel of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Eugene Mirman of Bob’s Burgers, Jena Friedman of Adult Swim, Zack Fox, Dirty Bird Records boss Claude VonStroke mixed with the best underground Vancouver comedy and cult nights The Hero Show, Bratpack, The Sunday Service, Foxhole Comedy, Millennial Line, Jokes Please, Mixed Gems with premier underground comedians and local musical, visual & drag artists performing with trend-setting out of town performers!
Big Fun is curated by local comedy leaders Cameron MacLeod, Jaik Puppyteeth and Sean Devlin with the goal of providing a platform for local comedy and culture performers to give a refreshing local alternative to traditional comedy+ offerings and elevate the collective culture communities with a beautiful balance of unique alternative and queer programming.
Big Fun will mix it up every day from world class stand up, live podcasts, delicious drag brunches and drag script readings of classic “Friends” TV episodes, pet photo booths, local author book release party to dancing the night away at the 35th Anniversary of Celebrities Nightclub, celebrating Vancouver’s diverse daily offerings in conventional event spaces to cutting edge contemporary alternative spaces.
