Burnaby Modified, Food-First Farmers’ Market

Farmers’ Markets are being permitted to operate as an essential service.

The Burnaby Farmers’ Market will operate as an essential service, similar to how grocery stores are, in an open-air, modified food-first market format!

Operating Farmers’ Markets, in the time of COVID-19 means added health guidelines!

There will be no entertainment and a limited number of shoppers will be allowed into the market area so that social distancing measures can be observed. An entrance and an exit will be set up to keep a flow in one direction.

Please SHOP’N GO and enjoy your purchases at home. Gathering or eating on location are NOT allowed.

When the market is at capacity, consumers can line up, 2 metres apart, at the entrance. Shoppers should Shop-n-Go. This all allow your fellow community members to move from the lineup and get their shopping done also.

Sanitizer is available for you to use at the entrance.
