Events Description
Three or four food trucks will be set up about midway along Ocean Boulevard, safely spaced to ensure physical distanced.
NEW! We are now able to reinstall the portable washrooms near the bridge end of the lagoon and the closed ‘park’ area has been shortened slightly to 400 metres to keep it walkable for most people.
Having food available is a way to get people out and active in our beautiful natural surroundings in a safe way, while supporting local small businesses. Food trucks by the beach tend to draw people from other areas of the region, so visitors will get to know Colwood as a beautiful seaside community. Signs will encourage visitors to stop by other businesses in our community while they are here.
Unfortunately we will not be inviting musicians to perform at this time, while the Provincial Health Officer is still discouraging large gatherings.
