Events Description

Founded in Montreal in 1987, Coup de coeur francophone is a festival dedicated to the promotion and the discovery of francophone artists and their music. Presented each year in November in Montreal as well as in nearly 45 Canadian cities, it brings together artists from the national and international scene in a program focused primarily on emerging artists, their boldness and creativity.

Saskatchewan singer Anique Granger will make her comeback on the Antoine-Gaborieau’s stage after a remarkable performance at Coup de cœur francophone 2013. She will be sharing the stage with local duo Gen+Tonic.

Friday, November 8


The up-and-coming Acadian artist Pierre Guitard will come to Winnipeg on November 8 to present his first album, Tuer la bête jusqu’à dimanche, released in the fall of 2018. With his unique blend of rock and dreampop, Pierre Guitard sings about his fears and dreams in simple yet catchy and passionate melodies. The Justin Lacroix Band will have the opening set where they will present new material to our audience.

LGS (Le Groupe Swing) + RED MOON ROAD

The franco-ontarian band LGS will give an exclusive performance in Jean-Paul-Aubry hall on November 9. This high energy group & their crazy antics have been making francophones of all the ages dance since 1999. They will be joined by Winnipeg’s one and only Red Moon Road who play the finest country-folk in town.
