Events Description

Stroll into the past along the historical Pine Ridge Trail and visit the Kudlowich Homestead, the last remaining home in the park from the Pine Ridge Community, a settlement of Polish and Ukrainian settlers from the 1930s and 1940s.

A Park Interpreter will be on-site at the Homestead throughout the summer, sharing stories of how these resourceful families lived a prosperous life off the land with so little. Discover the unique history of the peoples that lived here before Birds Hill became a provincial park!

For more information, call the Park Interpreter’s office at 204-654-6739 or email ParkInterpretation@gov.mb.ca.
