Drumming Workshop

Part of a monthly series of “Cultural Teachings and Activities with Elders” at Dalnavert Museum.

Join us for a drumming workshop with Traditional Drum Carrier Lawrence Spence and Elders in residence Barb and Clarence Nepinak. Songs, Oral History and Teachings will be shared outside on the grounds of Dalnavert Museum on Treaty 1 land near the Assiniboine River. Hand drums to use will be provided and must be returned, if participants want to bring their own drums that is acceptable.

Participant size: 14 per session

If it rains, we will move inside to our visitors’ centre. Masks will be mandatory and distancing will occur both indoors and outdoors.
