Events Description

Gadelle is a four-member, traditional French-Acadian band hailing from the Evangeline Region of PEI. The four members of the group are Louise Arsenault & Helene Bergeron (formerly of internationally-renowned group Barachois), Caroline Bernard and Rémi Arsenault. All seasoned performers, Gadelle members play and dance with ferocity and conviction while putting on one heck of a show. All four members are multi-instrumentalists playing and switching instruments and trading turns stepping throughout the show. The sound is Acadian, the songs are French, the banter is bilingual, the Acadian spirit is alive!

Le Winston Band is a group from Montréal that fuses rock, zydeco, cajun, and French-Canadian influences. Inspired by music from all over North America, the quintet mixes cultures and periods in time to create their original sound.

Yves Lambert was a founding member of La Bottine Souriante and figures among the most influential players of Quebec trad. Yves Lambert’s charisma and talent, coupled with Tommy Gauthier and Olivier Rondeau’s virtuosity and passion, the nuances of their arrangements and their distinct harmony make this trio a one-of-a-kind musical experience. With their own brand of energy, multicultural ambiance and colourful sounds there’s really nothing quite like the Yves Lambert Trio.

Élage Diouf‘s music is for the whole world to enjoy. It touches the heart, whatever the language. With upbeat songs that combine many cultures’ influences, sounds that are warm, with good dancing rhythms, sounds that make you want to move and feel great. That is what he wants for himself, his family, our planet.
