Manitobans can enjoy free access to provincial parks this weekend and those wishing to fish may do so without acquiring a licence.
. On June 12 and 13, anglers will be able to fish without a licence provincewide, except in national parks where a federal licence is still required. Access to provincial parks will also be free starting Friday, June 11 through Sunday, June 13. Regular camping fees will still apply if visitors plan is to spend the night in one of Manitoba’s many beautiful campgrounds.
Anglers fishing without a licence this weekend will be allowed to keep a conservation licence limit of fish, which varies by species. All other rules and regulations will apply, as outlined in the 2021 Manitoba Anglers’ Guide.
Families are also encouraged to explore one of the provinces many provincial parks this weekend. From Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14, provincial park vehicle permits are not required for visitors.
