Remember, vehicle permits are required year round in provincial parks. Park Vehicle Permits can be purchased and printed online at manitobaelicensing.ca or in-person at a park office. Permits are not available for purchase at the event.

Location: Pine Ridge Cemetery, Nimowin Rd, Oakbank
Join the Park Interpreters for a family friendly guided tour of the Pine Ridge Cemetery. Hear stories of the early settlers in this area and learn the secrets to interpreting headstones.

Witch’s Walk | Saturday, October 15, 2022 | 1 pm – 4 pm
Location: Nimowin Self-Guiding Trail, Nimowin Rd, West Pine Ridge (located at the end of Nimowin Road).
Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble… Witch Hazel has been spotted capturing forest animals of Birds Hill and will not release them without your help! Discover each animal’s unique adaptations while you walk the 1.8 km Nimowin Trail on this self-led family adventure. Along the way, complete challenges and make a magic potion for Witch Hazel so she will let the animals go.

Bat Box Building Workshop

Location: Interpretive Workshop (located at the end of Nimowin Road).
Discover the fascinating world of bats and the effects of the devastating white-nose syndrome plaguing these important creatures at this family-friendly workshop. Each family will get to make their own bat box to take home or hang in the park, providing bats with much-needed habitat to combat white-nose syndrome.
