Winter Star Gazing | Saturday, March 5, 2022 | 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Location: Visitor Centre

Join the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and the Brandon and Area Astronomical Society for this evening discovering our night skies. Our program will begin in the centre to discuss the beginner steps of winter star gazing, followed by an outdoor star tour and concluding with a hot chocolate at our campfire.

Ski rentals not available in the park. Participants must provide their own equipment.

Guided Snowshoe Trek | Saturday, March 19, 2022 | 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: Yellow Quill Trailhead

Discover various wildlife tracks and signs on this 3 km snowshoe with a Park Interpreter. We’ll trek to a log shelter and warm up by the wood stove with some hot chocolate. We’ll provide the snowshoes, or bring your own!

Location: Parsons Hill

Discover the history, flora and fauna of Parsons Hill on this beginner 1.2 km snowshoe with a Park Interpreter. We’ll provide the snowshoes, or bring your own!

Painting Pollinators Workshop | Saturday, April 30, 2022 | 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: Visitor Centre

Join a Park Interpreter to paint native wildflowers and pollinators and learn the benefits of planting a native wildflower garden to protect our pollinators. Take home your artwork to be inspired to plant your very own native pollinator garden! Spaces limited – program designed for adults only. All supplies provided.
