Free, registration is required for some activities.
Remember, vehicle permits are required year round in provincial parks. Park Vehicle Permits can be purchased and printed online at manitobaelicensing.ca or in-person at a park office. Permits are not available for purchase at the event.

Wolf Howl Hikes | Fridays, September 17 – October 29, 2021 | 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. @ Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary
Hike along with a Park Interpreter as we trek 2.5 km around the Goose Pond and howl for wolves. We’ll listen for their haunting calls and discover what makes the timber wolf so misunderstood. Be sure to bring a flashlight, sturdy hiking shoes and water! REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Register online here.
Build a Bat Box Workshop | Saturday, October 9, 2021 | 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. @ Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary
Come create habitats for bats and protect them from the threat of white-nose syndrome by building your own bat box to take home. Registration not required.

Discover some of the natural edible wilds in the Whiteshell, then enjoy a sample of cattail pancakes. Registration not required.

UFO Guided Hikes | Saturdays, October 16, 23 & 30, 2021 | 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. @ Falcon Creek Self-guiding Trail
Join a Park Interpreter for a night hike along the 2.2 km Falcon Creek trail. Along the way, hear the tale of the Falcon Lake UFO incident of 1967. Be sure to bring a flashlight, sturdy hiking shoes and water! REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Register online here.
