Explore the Lower Fort Garry, participate in a variety of workshops, supplementary historic activities, and learn how early settlers and local Cree and Ojibway people prepared for winter in the 19th century.

Get in on the coolest handmade/hand grown day to night market around, sponsored by the Friends of Lower Fort Garry! And this market is partnered with an amazing Harvest Fest at Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site!  The Makers Market will offer kiosks for makers, creators, tinkerers, and farmers, showcasing made by hand, original works. In addition, there will be a wide variety of food trucks on the site to provide a diverse selection of fare for everyone.
