The Manitoba Metis Government invites all Manitobans and their families to take a brief moment of time to forget about COVID and enjoy the province-wide fireworks display on July 15, celebrating the 150th anniversary of Manitoba OFFICIALLY becoming the 5th province to join Confederation, the only province brought in by an Indigenous Nation.

Manitoba Metis Government will be lighting up the skies across the province on Wednesday at 10:45 p.m in Winnipeg, Selkirk, The Pas, Dauphin, West St. Paul, and other communities throughout Manitoba all the way up to Churchill.

Due to an abundance of caution regarding COVID-19, the locations are not being disclosed but asks Manitobans to watch the skies from the safety of their homes, and vehicles.
