Ring in the new year at Zoo Lights Festival! Music, performances, and a late night party at the Tundra Grill Ice Bar will keep you celebrating all night long.

New Year’s Eve Entertainment:

Red Moon Road | 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm @ Town Hall

Red Moon Road hosts the Manitoba Songbook. With RMR performing on their own and as the back up band, an all star cast of Manitoba musical friends has been recruited to showcase two of their own songs, and one of “Manitoba Classic” of their choice. Red Moon Road will welcome this all-star line-up of musical guests to the stage:

Synonym Arts Consulation | 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm @ Town Hall
Interactive and family-friendly drag performances and workshops.

Synonym Art Consultation is presenting an evening of interactive, animal-themed, family-friendly drag performances and workshops. Synonym’s Drag Curator, Prairie Sky, will invite local drag queen and special effects make-up specialist Lita Takeela to facilitate a live make-up tutorial for the public. After the tutorial is complete, youth will be invited to have a mini “drag transformation” by Lita, painting them as an animal! Throughout the evening, there will be live performances by Prairie Sky, Lita Takeela, and Lady Quinzarr. Synonym Art Consultation’s co-founders Andrew and Chloe will keep the animal-themed music flowing all evening!

Fire Dancing

Sacred Flames brings warmth to the winter and light to the long night through the mystical beauty of fire manipulation. With decades of fire dance experience between them, they specialize in ritual theatre that enlightens as it entertains.

Late Night Party in Polar Town | 9:00 pm – 12:00 am @ Tundra Grill Ice Bar

Stay late for a party in Polar Town! We’ll be hosting an outdoor party at the Tundra Grill Ice Bar complete with a live DJ, dancing, and s’mores by a toasty fire pit.

Tickets : Late night parties are included with your regular Zoo Lights Festival admission ticket.

$12 + GST if purchased online or at any Red River Co-op location*
$15 + GST if purchased at the Zoo entrance

$30 + GST three-day passes can be purchased online, at the Zoo entrance, or at any Red River Co-op location*

Parking is available at the Special Events Zoo Parking Lot at 54 Zoo Drive (across from the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden). Courtesy transportation will deliver you to the Garden Party entrance. Event will proceed rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, the event will be hosted at the Qualico Family Centre.
