The first of nine public lectures in the series is coming up on Sunday, Febuary 21st. Join us online via Zoom for an illustrated talk on Robert Louis Stevenson: Writer & Photographer in the Pacific with Dr. Carla Manfredi. Dr. Manfredi is an associate professor at The University of Winnipeg and author of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Pacific Impressions: Photography and Travel Writing, 1888–1894. “The book’s historical grounding is key to its insightful conclusions regarding travel, settlement, photography, and colonialism.” (from the publisher)
