Learn a few hands-on fundamentals of tracking – or as we prefer to think of it, reading the natural stories written all over your neighbourhood. Come away knowing FortWhyte Alive better, and ready to look for animal tracks and wildlife traces in your own local wild spaces.

Update: Effective November 13, FortWhyte Alive and its trails will be fully closed to the public. Core staff will remain on-site to maintain security and make sure animals are cared for.

Getting to FortWhyte Alive via downtown Winnipeg:
Take Pembina Hwy {route 42} south until you reach McGillivray Blvd {route 155}
Turn west on {155} and drive past the FortWhyte Alive Outdoor Adventure Site entrance until you see the FortWhyte Alive turnoff at McCreary Road (it is clearly marked).
