About C2 Centre For Craft
The Museum is Canada’s Only Museum of Craft featuring contemporary and historical craft in the province. C2 is a shared initiative of the Manitoba Crafts Museum & Library and the Manitoba Craft Council.
What to Do at C2 Centre For Craft
C2 features an exhibition gallery, shop, library, museum collection, and more. The Centre has a growing collection of over 10,000 artifacts including ceramics, crochet, embroidery, laces, quilts, sculpture, woodworks and more historical and contemporary craft works. The museum collection has a number of textile crafts like embroidery, quilting, lace, crotche and knitting, and other media like ceramics, glass, wood and more. The museum also has a vast library of craft publications and patterns used by crafts people.
The C2 Shop is dedicated to bringing you the very best in contemporary and traditional craft by Manitoba’s finest craft artists. At the C2 Shop, you’ll find a carefully curated selection of handmade work by emerging and established craft artists: ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles, wood, metal, books and more.
