Fort Nelson is hosting the longest winter music and cultural festival that Northern British Columbia has ever seen. Sponsored by Young Living.
Experience the Northern Lights Trappers Rendezvous, Dene Handgames tournament, and World-Class Dog Sled Races with the Canadian Open Championship; and surround yourself with incredibly talented entertainers, ice carvers, and food and warm yourself by the ceremonial bonfires!
Each weekend will host some of Canada’s best new and upcoming talent with internationally acclaimed headline acts like The Sheepdogs, William Prince, and Lion Bear Fox.
From March 9th – March 23rd, the community of Fort Nelson is showcasing their World’s Largest Snowman, with hopes of breaking the Guinness Book of World Records.

Included in the wristband is: Seed to Seal Harvest Experience, Ice Sculpting, The World’s Largest Snowman, Opening or Closing Ceremonies, Rendezvous Tournament in week 1, Dog Sled Race through town in week 2, First Nations Handgames Tournament, The Northern Lights, and Music Concerts happening in various locations throughout town during both weeks, with a big Friday Night & Saturday night concert on both weekends and other events.
