Secret Streetcar Show concerts are truly one-of-a-kind in a beautiful intimate venue. To have high quality live music shows on a 105-year old streetcar, on a 105-year old bridge over a majestic river, at sunset is – as far as we know – done nowhere else in the world.
These two fine Edmonton singers/musicians have been a fave streetcar act for years as well, and were a Fringe Festival hit a couple of years ago; five-star reviews all around! “Exquisite…welcome to the next generation of great blues women.” (Roger Levesque, Edmonton Journal)
They made a CD together as The Alewives, recorded live off the floor over two days, a compelling mix of originals, blues and gospel classics. We’ll probably get to hear some of those, and of course Dana’s originals.
Who is it for?
The streetcar is not wheelchair accessible.

Our trip starts at 8pm sharp, so please arrive by 7.45. Meet at the back of the Arts Barns (10330 84 Avenue), by the tracks. The streetcar will take us to the high-level bridge and stop right in the middle of it for a first set of music and wonderful views of the grand North Saskatchewan and the river valley. After crossing the river and a little break we return for a second stop on the bridge with more music.
