The city’s newest bakeries offer a wide assortment of treats for mom. So no matter her dessert and sweets preferences, you can find something just for her. And since Mother’s Day is about all moms, you can pick up gifts or to share them with grandmothers, aunts, sisters, cousins, and any mom figure in your life.

If you’re looking for a way to cater your own brunch or high tea for Mother’s Day, look no further than Calgary’s new Begonia Bake House. These classic bakery items are made fresh and include loaves, buns, croissants, sweet and savoury Danishes, macarons, and madeleines. The new Begonia Bake House is in Calgary’s Beltline neighbourhood.

Just Baked YYC
This unique Okotoks bakery now has a pickup location in Calgary’s Marda Loop neighbourhood. But you may want to use their cake delivery service to surprise your mom for Mother’s Day. These cakes are considered “small-batch” in the sense that they are sold in individual mason jar servings. This also means each jar can be made fresh each day with close attention and care.
