Duncan’s Cove Hiking Trail
There are tons of great hiking opportunities outside the city, and Duncan’s Cove is at the top of the list. It’s a bit of a trek to get there, but worth it. It’s 4 km each way and with the rough terrain, it can take a few hours to hike the full trek. This cove guards the entrance to Halifax Harbour and was thus guarded during WWII. There are two WWII bunkers along the route, one near the start of the trail and one near the end.
