The 7 Paintings dining experience, well-received in Dubai and Germany, is set to make its North American debut at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel in September.

This unique event, merging art with fine dining, will be hosted at HALO Bar | Bistro and will run on selected dates from September to December 2024, starting September 27.
Originating from the Shangri-La Dubai, the experience has impressed audiences with its 2.5-hour immersive journey showcasing art from renowned artists including Michelangelo, Banksy, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, and Vincent van Gogh. The event features high-tech 3D projections and a seven-course meal designed to engage all the senses.

The gastronomic aspect of the evening is curated by Omar Sartawi, a globally recognized food artist, in collaboration with Daniel Sheperd, Executive Chef at Shangri-La Dubai. Each dish is inspired by the featured artists, offering a creative and modern twist on culinary traditions.
The menu, priced at $139 per person, features a range of dishes designed to reflect the artistry of the painters represented, with options available for vegetarian and vegan diners upon request. Highlights include a tomato praline inspired by Michelangelo, veal carpaccio for Banksy, and a grilled beef fillet course that nods to Andy Warhol.

What: The dining experience renowned in Dubai and Germany, 7 Paintings, making its much-anticipated North American debut at HALO Bar | Bistro at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel this September. This one-of-a-kind event marries art and gastronomy and has never been seen in Canada.
Guests at HALO Bar | Bistro will have the unique opportunity to explore their creative sides, enjoying exquisite dishes while painting, solving small puzzles and immersing themselves in a magical world full of colours, emotions and stories.
The event promises to blend storytelling, theatrics, and cutting-edge 3D graphic technology to create an unforgettable dining experience.
Who:
The child-friendly and there are no age restrictions. However, the organizers recommend a minimum age of 12 to be able to follow the plot. However, younger audiences are also welcome to enjoy our dinner show.
