8 New Calgary Dining Spots to Try This April – 2024

The new restaurants in Calgary offer a variety of bites, snacks, and meals between the eight of them.

There is a new burger place, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese restaurants and even a new doughnut place.

Silver Fox Saloon

The Silver Fox Saloon celebrated their grand opening week in early March and have kept the party alive since then. The pub and bar offer a full menu for daily dinners, and for weekend brunch. The pub is also open late into the nights with a dance floor, DJ sets, and themed party nights. Must try menu item: Foxy Burger Corral

Calgary’s China Town has a new addition to the area’s dining scene with the early-March arrival of Mama Rice Roll. The restaurant’s specialty are rice rolls made with a stone-ground rice paste. This is the first rice roll specialty restaurant and store in Calgary to offer this menu item. The rice rolls dishes are customizable to your liking with options for sauces, meat and seafoods, or vegetables. Must try menu item: Taiwanese braised pork rice

An An Kitchen & Bar is one of Calgary’s newest Vietnamese restaurants who offer a wonderful atmosphere and aim to make the dining experience as luxurious as possible. The K Cupbop brand hails from New Brunswick where the fast food joint have their two original locations. Now, K Cupbop have expanded into western Canada and started with Calgary! This is their first location outside of NB and is now open to serve Calgary “happiness in every bite.” This is a newer take on Korean barbecue and street food with meals packed to go in a large cup. Calgary’s new Loaded Pierogi opened on McLeod Trail a little over a month ago making it the Canadian fast food chain’s third Alberta location. So, they are already well-known and known for offering filling dishes at affordable prices. Raw, Calgary’s first and only authentic Japanese Hand Roll Bar,” opened less than a month ago. The restaurant has created a great deal of buzz already around their fresh rolls.
