Air Canada to Expand Flights to European Destinations for Summer 2024

Air Canada is gearing up for the summer of 2024 by expanding international flight routes, with a significant focus on trans-Atlantic travel.

Air Canada

The flagship announcement is the inauguration of a year-round Montreal-Madrid service starting May 2024, positioning itself as the sole year-round carrier for this route. This service bolsters the already operational Toronto-Madrid flights, aiming to accommodate both leisure and business travellers.

The Montreal-Madrid route will utilize the 255-seat Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, a state-of-the-art aircraft, partitioned into three service cabins. It features the luxurious Signature Class with lie-flat seating options, in addition to Premium Economy and Economy Classes. An added perk for travelers is the chance to earn and redeem Aeroplan points, a premier Canadian loyalty program. The airline is also ensuring premium benefits such as priority check-in and boarding, along with Maple Leaf Lounge access for eligible passengers.
