Two of Marvel’s best-known Canadian-born characters are getting a new tribute from the Royal Canadian Mint.

Wade Wilson, better known as Deadpool, was born in Saskatchewan, while James Howlett, who becomes Wolverine, was born in Alberta. Their shared Canadian roots are at the centre of three new 2026 collectibles released by Agoro, the collectibles brand of New Zealand Mint and minted in Canada by the Royal Canadian Mint.
The collection includes separate 1 oz. pure silver collectibles for Deadpool and Wolverine, along with a joint 1/4 oz. pure gold piece featuring both characters together.
The silver releases each have a mintage of 10,000 and are struck in 99.99 per cent pure silver. Deadpool’s design features the phrase “I Heart Me”, while Wolverine’s reads “Who’s Next?” Both use raised, colour-printed details and include the line “Time to give the people what they came for” on the reverse.
The gold collectible brings the two Canadian-born characters together on an Agoro gold piece for the first time. It is struck in 1/4 oz. of 99.99 per cent pure gold and has a much smaller mintage of 1,500.
Deadpool and Wolverine appear side by side with a mirror finish and frosted relief. The Canadian Crest is also part of the design, reinforcing the Saskatchewan and Alberta connection behind the two Marvel characters.
Packaging varies by piece. The silver collectibles come in custom tray-and-lid boxes with numbered holograms, while the gold edition is presented in a clear acrylic frame secured with golden magnets.
All three collectibles are GST/HST exempt.
