5. Stanley Cup Tribute

Ottawa is the place to be for all things related to the legendary Stanley Cup in 2017! From a special gala event to a concert, to a brand new monument, it seems that the city just can’t get enough of this timeless award. March 17: Head to Lansdowne’s Aberdeen Pavilion to meet some NHL alumni and have your picture taken with the Stanley Cup. And in the evening, a Stanley Cup 125th Anniversary Tribute Concert will take place at Canadian Tire Centre. On March 18, 2017, there will be a ground-breaking ceremony for a new Stanley Cup monument that will be installed at the corner of Sparks Street and Elgin Street. The monument will include a chalice and a hockey puck-shaped bench set up on an ice rink. Details
