Golf enthusiasts in the Greater Toronto Area have a new place to explore, and there’s a special reason to visit this weekend.
Golf Town has opened its first flagship store in Oakville, Ontario, and is marking the occasion with $50 gift cards for everyone in line and more than $20,000 worth of hourly prize giveaways during its grand-opening celebrations on October 17 and 18.
Located at 290 North Service Road West, the new store covers 40,000 square feet, making it approximately two and a half times larger than a typical Golf Town location.
It’s also the retailer’s 50th store in Canada, representing a $15 million investment.
What’s Inside the New Golf Town Store?
The Oakville location goes beyond the usual shelves of golf clubs, shoes and apparel.
One of its biggest features is a 1,300-square-foot putting green, roughly four times the size found in standard stores. It includes an interactive PuttView system that uses dual projectors to help golfers visualize their putts.
Visitors will also find five Foresight golf simulator bays and two StudioX custom-fitting bays, equipped with technology that recreates different putting slopes and conditions.
For those interested in personalizing their equipment, the store has an on-site workshop offering custom wedge stamping, golf ball logo printing and other gear customization.
There are dedicated shopping areas for TaylorMade, Callaway, Odyssey, PING and Titleist, along with expanded clothing and footwear departments. The footwear section includes a 3D foot-scanning system to help customers find the right fit.
$50 Gift Cards and Grand-Opening Giveaways
The official grand-opening celebration takes place over two days, with visitors invited to explore the new store and participate in giveaways.
According to Golf Town, everyone in line on Saturday and Sunday will receive a $50 Golf Town gift card. There will be a limit of one (1) cash card per customer who is in line prior to doors opening at 8:00 a.m. on October 17 or October 18, 2026. The card must be redeemed the same day.
The retailer is also offering hourly prize giveaways valued at more than $20,000 throughout the weekend.
