Hip-hop artist and N.W.A co-founder, Ice Cube will embark on his first headlining North America tour in more than ten years, titled Truth to Power: 4 Decades of Attitude.
The 22-date arena tour, produced by Live Nation, begins September 4 in Brooklyn and includes stops in major cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and Toronto.
Canadian shows are scheduled for September 20 in Vancouver and October 9 in Toronto.
The announcement follows a period of renewed recognition for Ice Cube. He was recently honoured with a cement handprint ceremony at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre, highlighting his four-decade career spanning music, film, and sports. The tour also comes on the heels of his latest album, Man Down, which debuted in the Top 10 on the rap and independent charts. The release has been noted for its socially charged lyrics and West Coast style.
