Chain Lakes is an awesome place to go ice fishing because the roads going into the provincial park are well maintained and the area is well taken care of. Rent a warm, secure ice fishing cabin for the whole family to enjoy!
You missed some of the best lakes
- Lake Newell (2hrs east)
- Crawling Valley Resevoir (1:45 east)
- McGregor Lake (1:40 se)
There are a couple companies to rent ice fishing heated shacks on Lake Newell I usually use TipUpIceShackRentals. I know there is another one but I don't remember their name.
