A new festival is set to take place in Cavendish just a week after the Cavendish Beach Music Festival.
The Sommo Festival set to take place from July 14-15, 2023, promises to be a 2-day extravaganza of music, food, and drinks, showcasing incredible musical performances and culinary experiences.
Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers will headline the festival.
They will be supported by Vance Joy, Lord Huron, Tegan And Sara, Charlotte Cardin, Grandson, Death From Above, 1979, Allison Russell, Wild Rivers, Joel Plaskett Emergency, Jj Wilde, Yoke Lore, Ruby Waters, Crown Lands, Dear Rouge, Monowhales, Kiwi Jr, Brkn Love, Skye Wallace, Izzy Heltai, Housewife, Andrew Waite, Liam Corcoran, Gail Simmons, Matt Moore, Adam Loo and Ilona Daniel.
One of the highlights of the event will be the culinary stage, featuring demonstrations by celebrity chefs that you definitely wouldn’t want to miss.
The festival will also have a wide range of food vendors, including restaurants, markets, food trucks, and more, offering a variety of dishes from the region and beyond.
The Sommo Festival will also have pop-up stands from local businesses, featuring the best beer, wine, cider, cocktails, and other refreshing beverages.
