Oktoberfest events in Alberta are coming up quickly, with some starting the celebrations as early as September 4. Get your tickets to one, some, or all, and sample a wide variety of local brews while you’re at it.

Oktoberfest events look a little bit different depending on where you party in Alberta, with some as 18+ only, some as family-friendly, as a rodeo/Oktoberfest combo, and some as totally free to attend.

No matter which Oktoberfest(s) you decide to visit, you’re guaranteed exciting cultural celebrations through drink, music, dance, and food.

1. Oktoberfest Lethbridge

Head to Lethbridge’s Festival Square for the local Oktoberfest set to feature delicious beer, good food, and other Bavarian treats.

The festival is modelled after the authentic Munich Oktoberfest, with long-table dining and drinking and upbeat music. Details

2. Oldstoberfest, Olds

Treat yourself to the world’s only Bavarian Rodeo this fall. Oldstoberfest is part Oktoberfest, part rodeo, and all community spirit.

You can strap on dancing shoes or cowboy boots for this event, and indulge in the authentic food or beer. There will be live music, an authentic Bavarian beer garden, and plenty of good food. Details

3. ICE District Oktoberfest

7. Calgary Rugby Union Oktoberfest
