Freezing temperatures and icy snow piles mean that winter fun has arrived in Saint John. Dress warmly and get out there for ‘snow’ much fun with your family and friends this winter. Listed below are some places where you can have winter fun around Saint John.

Winter Fun at Rockwood Park

Go dashing through the snow around Rockwood Park. Sleigh rides start at the stables in the park. The sleigh rides must be booked in advance, and can hold up 12 people.

What about going sledding? It is hard to name just one hill in Rockwood Park because there are many great options to pick from. The hill near the golf course is long and really fast. Near Lily’s Cafe is a shorter but steeper hill if you want something with faster pace.

Explore a winter wonderland as the trail system is open year round. Enjoy a hike, go snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Kilometres of trails waiting for you to explore.

Once Lily Lake is thick enough, you can go ice skating on the lake. It is also used for a popular pond hockey tournament.

You can ice fish on Fisher Lake. Make sure to dress warmly, and bring your fishing gear for a fun day fishing on the lake.
