Here is a list of U-pick berry farms in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region. Strawberries are available to pick from mid-June to late July. The hours listed are general farm hours (not PYO hours), which can change without notice due to various reasons including weather.

Hoffman’s Strawberries

Located four kilometres from the St. Jacob’s Farmers Market, Hoffman’s farm offers pick-your-own and freshly picked strawberries.

Hours:

Usually open mid-late June for Strawberry picking.

Fehr Grown Farms

This local farm is a great place to go for pick your own strawberries as well as various produces.

Opens early to mid-June

2025 hours: Monday-Friday 8 am-7 pm and Saturday 8 am-5 pm, closed Sundays

Downey’s Farm Market

Owned and operated by the Downey family since 1920, the Downey’s Farm Market is a 215-acre farm located on Heart Lake Road, North of Brampton. The farm provides the freshest strawberries, raspberries, apples, sweet corn, squash and pumpkins for you to pick directly from its fields.

Wagon Rides are available daily (weather permitting).

Raspberry Picking opens approximately July 8, 2025 (daily 7 am to 4 pm, last admission to the patch is 3:30 pm)

Apple Picking opens mid-August to early November (daily 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, last admission to the field is 5 pm)

Andrew’s Scenic Acres & Scotch Block Winery

Andrews Scenic Acres grows a variety of berries raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. This 165 acres farm and winery also offers pick your own flowers – peony, dahlia, sunflower (when in season), 8-acres sunflower patch and more.

Brantwood Farms

Brantwood Farms grows a variety of fruits and vegetables and offers pick your own strawberries and apples as well as a u-pick flower field and sunflower festival at the end of July.

This family-owned farm offers delicious pies, fresh produce, baked goods and homemade preserves. They also have to pick your own strawberry fields, which are open based on weather conditions.
