Where to Go For Snowboarding and Skiing in and Around Greater Toronto Area

If you cannot wait to hit the powder to experience the thrill of downhill skiing or learn how to, there are quite a few options for skiing and snowboarding in and around Toronto.

If you are a beginner, choose the nearest ski hill (all have ski gear rental packages).  If you want more excitement, consider visiting Lakeridge, Dagmar, Brimacombe (Durham Region) and ski areas outside of the GTA if you are an avid skier.

Ski lessons are available at most ski areas for ages three and up. Select resorts outside the GTA offer childcare services.
