Easter Monday at McDougall Cottage

Looking for something a little different to do this Easter Monday?  Plan to stop by McDougall Cottage for a guided tour of this charming stone house on the banks of the Grand.   Learn about the history of the area, hear the stories of the two families of Scottish settlers that first called this house their home, and admire the more than a hundred-year-old hand-painted murals that adorn its ceilings and walls. Explore Rail Trail

Hike or bike any section of  the 18 kilometre trail that follows the Grand River through lush Carolinian forest with spectacular river overlooks. The trail follows the old roadbed of the Lake Erie and Northern Railway (LE&N).

In Cambridge, the trail connects to the City of Cambridge trails, which in turn link to the Walter Bean Trail, which continues through Kitchener and Waterloo. Details
