Iron Horse Park
Iron Horse Park is a unique mini representation of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The CPR goes all across Canada, and the miniature trains, track, and landscape at Iron Horse Park are modelled right after the real thing. Take a 1.6km ride “across Canada” in the 1/8th scale diesel or steam locomotives. Learn how it felt to travel like a pioneer! There is also a snack and souvenir shop in the full sized replica CPR station. With picnic tables on site, this is the perfect way to spend a warm spring, summer, or fall afternoon.

Chinook Winds Regional Park
Chinook Winds Regional Park is Airdrie’s newest park. At Chinook Winds you will find over 55 acres of developed parkland. Throughout the park are over 2 km of paved pathways, 3 playgrounds, a skate park, a spray park, a seasonal multi use court, two seasonal concessions, public washrooms, a great toboggan hill for the winter time, beach volleyball, 4 volleyball courts, and 8 ball diamonds. No matter what you choose to do there, you will be busy for hours!

Gwacheon Park
With six unique totem poles standing in the park, Gwacheon Park is a unique landmark for Airdrie, Ab. The totem poles were erected to recognize the sisterhood and friendship between the city of Airdrie and the city of Gwacheon, Korea. Since 1997 these two cities have had a relationship and as the relationship continues to grow and flourish so does the park itself. A beautiful place to visit, with pretty gardens, a nice little pond, and plenty of trees and open fields, Gwacheon Park is a great place to have a picnic, toss a frisbee, and spend a relaxing afternoon.

Nose Creek Regional Park
For people who enjoy fishing, Nose Creek Regional Park is a great place to do so without having to leave the city. Nose Creek Pond is stocked with trout twice over the summer months, ensuring the fishing is always good. Beyond that, there are 20 natural acres of trails and park area, with a concession, an amphitheatre, picnic tables, a covered shelter, fire pits, and more. This park is a great place to spend the day enjoying the sun and nature at its finest.

Reunion Pond
This pond is a fantastic place to walk your dog or take a jog. Clean and beautiful, many locals enjoy using the trails surrounding the pond on a daily basis. During the winter the pond is also used for skating.

Woodside Golf Course
This 6,200 yard course is much more challenging than one would expect. Woodside Golf Course winds through the community and around 9 different water hazards. There are lush greens and numerous bunkers as well. With “insanely outrageous” obstacles such as a beach volleyball court, this course is both challenging and entertaining.

Uncle Bernie’s All Natural Meats
Uncle Bernie’s All Natural Meats is a small family farm just east of Airdrie. They have all kinds of meat such as elk, bison, beef, free range poultry, and even bees! At Uncle Bernie’s they strongly believe in the importance of knowing where your food comes from, how it was raised, and complete transparency in the process. Nose Creek Valley Museum
Nose Creek Valley Museum represents over 100 years of local history, providing an interesting glimpse into the historical aspects of Airdrie and surrounding area. This museum has an elaborate collection of photographs, over 10,000 artifacts, and displays that include a First Nation’s display, a settler’s cabin, a blacksmith shop, and more.

Genesis Place is the location in Airdrie for fitness and fun. Inside you will find so many different amenities. For those who like the water there is a six-lane, 25 metre competitive pool, a dive tank with one metre board, a leisure pool with spray toys and a lazy river, a water slide, and more. For those who prefer to stay dry, there are two indoor soccer fields, two full-sized gymnasiums, a dance studio, yoga studio, a child care centre and a McDonald’s Fun Place. The Bert Church Live Theatre
Visit Bert Church Live Theatre for an entertaining night. A fully equipped, live performing art facility, with 377 seats, professional grade sound and lighting. This theatre is also fully wheelchair accessible and has free parking! Some performers who have come to The Bert Church Live Theatre include Sass Jordan and Michelle Wright.

Airdrie Pro Rodeo
Airdrie Pro Rodeo is one of the largest 10 rodeos in Canada! It is a great place to check out some world class athletes, have fun at a cabaret, and there are even children’s events for the kids! The rodeo is five days long and is run 100% by volunteers!

Airdrie Festival Of Lights
Airdrie Festival of Lights is a beautiful walk around light display that takes place each December in Nose Creek Park. During the Festival of lights there are miniature trail rides available for only $2.00 a person! There are also two handcrafted bonfire pits to warm your hands, cook a few marshmallows, and drink some hot chocolate. Hot beverages and water bottles are available for purchase at the on site concession. Although not officially part of the festival, the Nose Creek Pond is available to go skating on during the Festival of Lights as well. Details
