Tim Hortons is expanding its matcha menu just two months after introducing the drink to restaurants.

Starting September 23, customers at participating Tim Hortons locations can order two new strawberry matcha drinks, along with a Strawberry Soda Swirl that takes the flavour in a very different direction.
The new additions are:
- Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte: Tim Hortons matcha mixed with strawberry syrup and topped with pink strawberry-flavoured cold foam.
- Hot Strawberry Matcha Latte: A hot matcha latte with strawberry syrup.
- Strawberry Soda Swirl: Coca-Cola blended with strawberry syrup and cream, finished with strawberry-flavoured cold foam.
Tim Hortons first added matcha to its menu in July 2026. Its hot and iced matcha drinks are made with 100 per cent pure matcha tea from shade-grown green tea leaves. The leaves are picked and dried before being double ground into a fine powder.
The strawberry versions keep that same matcha base, with syrup providing the fruit flavour. The iced version gets an additional layer of strawberry cold foam, giving the drink its green-and-pink appearance.
“Tims guests were excited when we first launched matcha in July,” said Matthew Feaver, Head of Innovation for Tim Hortons. He described the strawberry drinks as an extension of the matcha lineup.
The Strawberry Soda Swirl is separate from the matcha drinks. It combines Coca-Cola, strawberry syrup and cream before being topped with the same pink strawberry-flavoured cold foam used on the iced matcha.
All three drinks are available beginning September 23 at participating Tim Hortons restaurants.
