Toronto-Niagara Falls Go Train Service Expands to Two Daily Weekday Round Trips

The Ontario government has announced an increase in GO train services between Union Station and Niagara Falls.

Starting May 20, daily round trips to Niagara Falls will increase on both weekdays and weekends, leading to a total of 21 round trips each week. Service will also be resumed at St. Catharines VIA station.

Additionally, four weekday peak express trips will be added on the Lakeshore West line, enhancing commute options between Hamilton, Burlington, and Toronto.

Changes in the schedule, effective from May 20, include new departure times for eastbound trips from Niagara Falls (12:05 p.m. and 8:05 p.m.) and westbound trips from Union Station (9:03 a.m. and 5:03 p.m.).

Starting April 24, changes will also be implemented due to necessary trackwork between West Harbour GO and Niagara Falls GO stations.

Consequently, the weekday eastbound train from Niagara Falls will depart 9 minutes earlier at 6:32 a.m. The westbound train from Union Station will maintain its usual 5:13 p.m. departure but will arrive at Niagara Falls GO station 11 minutes later, at 7:48 p.m. Weekend services remain unaffected.
