Insignia Gas Ranges
The first involves Insignia gas ranges sold by Best Buy Canada. The affected stainless steel models are NSRGFGSS1 and NS-RGFCGS2, both with five front knobs and “Insignia” printed near the bottom of the oven door. The model number is on a sticker inside the bottom drawer.
The front knobs can turn on if brushed accidentally by a person or pet, creating a fire hazard. Best Buy Canada reported 702 affected units sold in Canada and 3,821 in the United States between November 2021 and February 2026. As of June 17, 2026, there were no Canadian incident or injury reports. In the U.S., there was one report of accidental activation and no injuries.
Owners should stop using the range and contact Best Buy Canada for free knob covers at 1-800-566-7498, range@realtimeresults.net, or recallrtr.com/range.
Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-In-1 Gas Grills
The second recall covers Cuisinart Propel+ Four-Burner 3-In-1 Gas Grills with Pizza Oven, model CGG-6331, distributed by Conair. These grills include a griddle, a stovetop burner, and a pizza oven with a tempered glass lid. The issue is that the glass can shatter during use, posing a laceration risk.
Conair has received one Canadian incident report and 37 U.S. reports, with no injuries in either country as of June 25, 2026.
Consumers should stop using the grill, check Conair’s website, remove the glass if instructed, upload photos of the removed glass and serial number, and then receive a refund. The refund is either $500 USD by check or the original purchase amount with proof of receipt.
