Canada’s Wonderland will once again be transformed into a nightmare landscape with the return of Halloween Haunt, a fall tradition that fills the park with fog, frights, and live entertainment.

Halloween Haunt works best when you treat it as more than a collection of haunted houses. A night can move from enclosed mazes to monster-filled streets, roller coasters after dark, fire performances and, for those willing to pay extra, a nearly 20-minute trip into The Conjuring universe.
Canada’s Wonderland runs the after-dark event on select nights from September 25 to November 1, 2026. It is not recommended for children under 13.
What should you make time for?
There are six haunted mazes this year, and all return from last years lineup. Cornstalkers puts visitors into a haunted corn maze; Dark Ride takes over an abandoned carnival attraction; Demons of the Deep uses a flooded laboratory setting; Spirit Manor moves through a cursed mansion; The Crypt descends into catacombs; and The Ruins is built around an ancient archaeological nightmare. Maze admission requires a Haunted Attractions Pass, currently starting at $10.
The outdoor scare zones do not require that maze add-on. Seven are planned for 2026: CarnEvil, Gates of Terror, Kingdom of Carnage, Necropolis, Streets of the Undead, Trick-or-Treat Street and Wicked Hollow. They effectively turn the walk between attractions into part of Haunt, with roaming characters and themed environments.
When you want a break from queueing, the live entertainment is worth working into the evening. Inferno combines fire stunts and contortion, while Head Bangers uses LED drumming, techno music and water drumming. Live bands are also scheduled, with individual showtimes available through the Six Flags app.
And then there are the rides. Wonderland includes night rides as part of Haunt, giving regular park attractions a different atmosphere once the park is dark and filled with fog and Halloween lighting.
For those who prefer to catch their breath, themed food and drinks are available throughout the grounds. Seasonal treats, cocktails, and limited-edition Halloween Haunt merchandise round out the experience.
Is The Conjuring worth adding?
The Conjuring: Beyond Fear debuted in 2025 and returns this year. Rather than another walk-through maze, it is an approximately 20-minute immersive experience where guests become paranormal investigators encountering entities and cursed objects from The Conjuring films, including Annabelle.
It costs from $30 per person, does not include park admission and is separate from the Haunted Attractions Pass. If your budget is limited, this is the easiest premium attraction to decide on before arriving.
For most visitors, the best use of the night is to alternate mazes and rides with scare zones and shows rather than attempting every attraction in succession. The maze pass is worthwhile if haunted houses are the main draw. Basic admission still gives you the scare zones, entertainment and operating rides.

Halloween Haunt returns to Canada’s Wonderland with a sinister transformation, turning the theme park into a scream park filled with Halloween attractions that offer thrills and Halloween-themed horror.
Dates: Select nights, September 25 to November 1, 2026.
Entry: Guests must enter before 10 p.m., or 11 p.m. on Fridays. Re-entry is not permitted Thursdays and Fridays; weekend re-entry ends at 7 p.m.
Admission: Date-specific park tickets currently start at $45, plus applicable taxes and processing fees.
Haunted Mazes: Haunted Attractions Pass starts at $10 and is required for the six mazes.
The Conjuring: Beyond Fear: Starts at $30 and requires a separate purchase. The experience lasts nearly 20 minutes and is recommended for ages 13+.
Costumes: Costumes, SFX makeup and items that conceal identity are prohibited during Haunt. On weekends, the costume restriction begins at 6 p.m.
Age: Halloween Haunt is not recommended for guests under 13. The park’s regular chaperone policy also applies after 4 p.m. to guests 15 and younger.
