Events Description
Kids Can Catch is a province-wide program in which Alberta Conservation Association teams up with community and corporate partners. The events are meant to promote proper care of fish, as well as family fun. . Volunteers are on-hand to help teach new anglers the proper ways to bait a hook, where to drop a line, and what to do once a fish has been caught.
Wabamun Lake is catch and release only for walleye and pike unless you have secured a walleye tag.
Free lunch, snacks and refreshments, while supplies last.

This event will be cancelled if the temperatures dips below -20 (with or without wind chill) or the ice is assessed as unsafe.
