Home of Johnston Cranberries, Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery offers plenty of winter activities when the cranberry bog freezes over during the season.
Of the many activities, perhaps the most famous is the 1.2-kilometre ice skating trail surrounded by a unique setting: 12 acres of cranberries.
Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery opened daytime skating on Christmas Eve, and the skating trail opens for night skating this Saturday.
The ice skating trail is open on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Saturdays, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the trail will be lit for night skating.
