1. Carletto
Downtown Ottawa gained a new Italian dining room this summer with the arrival of Carletto at the Metcalfe Hotel. The contemporary trattoria puts a modern spin on Italian classics, with house-made focaccia, handmade pasta, pizza and dishes such as rigatoni alla vodka and chicken puttanesca. Some pastas are finished tableside in a wheel of Parmesan.

2. Casa Verde Latin Kitchen
