Are you planning to visit downtown Toronto this weekend for the Pride Festival Weekend and the Parade?

The weekend is packed with live performances from well-known artists and three major parades: the Pride Parade, Dyke Rally and March, and Trans Rally and March. Alongside these events, attendees can enjoy a large Street Fair and the Family Pride Festival, offering activities for all ages.

 

With so much happening across the city, several road closures are expected throughout the weekend to accommodate the celebrations and ensure safety for all participants and spectators.

Here are all the details about the main festivities, including entertainment on various stages, parades and road closures.

1. TD Main Stage, 100 Queen St. West

  • Friday, June 26

8. Street Fair

 

Enjoy products from local artisans and a diverse selection of delicious food at the marketplace.

When:
Friday | 7 pm to 11 pm
Saturday | 1 pm to 11 pm
Sunday | 1 pm to 11 pm

Where: Church St. from Gould St. to Hayden St.

Road Closure:

  • On Thursday, June 25, 2026, Church Street will be fully closed to all vehicular traffic from the north side of Wellesley Street to the north side of Alexander Street. Maitland Street will also be closed from Maitland Terrace to Alexander Place between the hours of 3 p.m. and 8 a.m. 
  • On Friday, June 26, 2026, at 8 a.m., Church Street will be fully closed to all vehicular traffic from the north side of Dundas Street East to the south side of Hayden Street. Wellesley Street East will also be closed from Yonge Street to Jarvis Street during this time period.

Parades, Road Closures & TTC Route Changes

1. Trans Pride Rally, March, After Party

What: Celebrating all things Transgender and features a rally, a march, a community fair, and an after-party at Community Stage.

Parade route – The rally starts at the intersection of Church St. and Hayden St, turns on Bloor Street East, goes south on Yonge Street, turns onto Gould St. and ends at the Community Stage at 78 Gould St.

When: Friday, June 26 | The Rally starts at 7 pm; The March starts at 8 pm

  • Community Fair: 5pm to 7pm @ Church St. and Hayden St.
  • Rally: 7pm to 8pm @ Church St. and Hayden St.
  • March : 8pm start @ Starts at Church St. and Hayden St. ends at Church and Gould St.
  • Afterparty: 7pm to 11pm @ Community Riser

Road Closures:

Road closures will take place along the route including:

  • Hayden Street from Yonge Street to Church Street
  • Yonge Street from Bloor Street East to Gould Street
  • Gould Street from Yonge Street to Church Street
  • Church Street from Gould Street to Hayden Street

2. Dyke Pride Rally, March, After Party

What: Celebrates all things Dyke and Lesbian and features a rally, a march, a community fair, and an after-party!

Parade route: The rally starts at the intersection of Church St. and Hayden St, turns on Bloor Street East, goes south on Yonge Street, turns onto Gould St. and ends at the Community Stage at 78 Gould St.

When: Saturday, June 27

  • Rally: 1pm to 2pm @ Church St. and Hayden St.
  • March : 2pm to 3pm @ Starts at Church St. and Hayden St. ends at Church and Gould St.
  • Afterparty: 3pm to 6pm @ Community Riser
  • Community Fair: 3pm to 6pm @ Church St. and Gould St

Road Closures – Saturday, June 27, 1:00 pm to 6 pm

  • Hayden Street from Yonge Street to Church Street
  • Yonge Street from Bloor Street East to Gould Street
  • Gould Street from Yonge Street to Church Street
  • Church Street from Gould Street to Hayden Street

3. Pride Parade

 

What: 45th Parade featuring 200+ contingents and over 200,000 marchers.

Parade Route: Rosedale Valley Rd. & Park Rd., West on Church St., South on Yonge St., to Nathan Phillips Square

When: Sunday, June 28, 2026 | 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Accessible Viewing Areas

  • Charles St and Yonge St.
  • Breadlane St and Yonge St.
  • Elm St and Yonge St.
  • Edward St and Yonge St.
  • Isabelle St and Yonge St.
  • Wood St and Yonge St.

Road Closures:

— At 8 a.m., road closures will come into effect on:

  • Rosedale Valley Road, from Park Road to Bayview Avenue

— At 11 a.m., road closures will come into effect on:

  • Church Street from Yonge Street to Bloor Street East
  • Park Road from Rosedale Valley Road to Bloor Street East
  • Asquith Avenue from Yonge Street to Park Road
  • Collier Street from Yonge Street to Church Street

— At 12 p.m., road closures will come into effect on:

  • Bloor Street West from Bay Street to Ted Rogers Way
  • Yonge Street from Church Street to Queen Street East
  • Dundas Street West from University Avenue to Victoria Street
  • Bay Street from Queen Street to Dundas Street

All roads are expected to be re-opened at approximately 8 p.m.

TTC Route Changes

  • 505 Dundas – June 28, 12:00 pm to 8 pm
      • 505 Dundas streetcars will operate as a split route west and east of Yonge Street.
      • West of Yonge Street: will turn back from Dundas Street West, south on Spadina Avenue, east on Queen Street West, north on McCaul Street and west on Dundas Street West, to regular route.
      • East of Yonge Street: will turn back from Dundas Street East, south on Church Street, west on Richmond Street East, south on Victoria Street, east on Adelaide Street East, north on Church Street and east on Dundas Street East, to regular route.
  • 19 Bay – June 27, 7 am to 11:30 am
      • 19 Bay buses will divert both ways via Bloor Street West, Ted Rogers Way, Jarvis, Carlton and College streets.
      • Stops not served: Bay Street between Bloor Street West and College Street.
  • 13 Avenue Rd: June 27, 2026 | 7 am to 11:30 am
      • 13 Avenue Road buses will divert as follows:
      • Southbound: from Avenue Road, west on Davenport Road, south on Bedford Road and west on Prince Arthur Avenue, to St George Station.
      • Northbound: from St George Station, north on Bedford Road, east on Davenport Road and north on Avenue Road, to regular route.
      • Stops not served: all stops south of Davenport Road.
  • 97C Yonge: June 26, 7 pm to June 28, 8 pm
    • 97C Yonge buses will divert as follows:
    • Southbound: from Yonge Street, east on St Clair Avenue East, south on Mount Pleasant Road, south on Jarvis Street, west on Richmond Street East and south on Yonge Street, to regular route.
    • Northbound: from Yonge Street, east on Adelaide Street East, north on Jarvis Street, north on Mount Pleasant Road, west on St Clair Avenue East and north on Yonge Street, to regular route.
    • Stops not served: Yonge Street between St Clair Avenue East and Queen Street East.
