10 Tulip Farms and Fields For a U-Pick Spring Day Trip in Ontario – 2026 Season

The most colourful of spring flowers, tulips bloom across Ontario during the season, painting the landscape with vibrant hues. Many flower farms welcome visitors to pick fresh tulips straight from the fields, offering a delightful spring experience.

Ontario also celebrates its floral beauty through flower festivals, with the renowned Canadian Tulip Festival in Ottawa beginning on May 9th.

If you’re looking to enjoy the tulip season, here are eleven stunning fields to explore across the province.

FYI: Farm operating hours depend on weather conditions, and a colder winter may delay blooming this year. Most farms plan to open on the last weekend of April in 2026. If you want to enjoy a fuller field, it’s better to visit during the first or second weekend of May.
